I'm a beginner, is this for me?

Yes, it is. All our classes are tailor-made for you and only you decide how fast or slow you want to learn. We design bespoke one-to-one live tuition, which is personalized to your requirements.

 

I have a good knowledge of the language, will I benefit from the classes?

Yes, you will. Practice makes perfect. During your first lesson your teacher will work with you to decide the best plan of action for you.

 

Do I have to adapt to your method?

No, you don't. Each student is different, that is why we design bespoke one-to-one live tuition, which is personalized to each student. Our tailor-made lessons are adjusted to your individual needs. Our one-to-one language training will help you achieve your goals quickly with support and motivation from your own personal tutor.

When can I start my classes?

We will need to know what your goals are so we can select the best tutor for you. Once you have booked your lessons, we will get in touch to confirm the start date.

 

What do I do if I have to reschedule a class? 

Please e-mail us by using our contact form and ensure that you give a minimum of 48 hours' notice. We will cancel your class and make the next booking for another day that suits you. Classes that are cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged to you and you will not be entitled to reschedule the class. 

 

Can I have a refund if I need to cancel my class?

If you require a refund please contact us by using our contact form at least 48 hours before your next class.

You can only cancel two classes per month. As of the third, the class fee will not be refunded.

 

If I decide to sign up for the first class, am I committed in any way?

No. During your first class you can get to know us and try out our methodology without any commitment. 

 

I'm no good with technology, can I still learn languages with Languages at Home?

Yes, you can. You just need to have a few basic skills. We will be happy to help if you have any questions.

 

What happens if there are communication problems during the class? 

If the break in communication is due to technical difficulties on the student´s device or Internet connection, Languages at Home will try, the first time that this happens, to reschedule that class so that the student does not miss it. If this occurs several times the student will forfeit these classes. If it is our system that fails, we will give you an extra class to make up for the missed class.
